Through a fruitful dialogue within and between disciplines, the European Network for Psychological Anthropology (ENPA) aims to foster new insights not only in research contexts, but also in policy-making, therapy, and healing. In collaboration with EASA and University of Helsinki EASA is an international trade organization of more than 1,800 electromechanical sales and service firms in nearly 80 countries. EASA supports companies involved in the service and sale of electric motors, pumps, drives, controls, gearboxes and other rotating machinery. The ASA is the professional association for social anthropology. It was founded in 1946 to promote the study and teaching of anthropology and to uphold the interests and status of the discipline, primarily in the UK, but also extending to the Commonwealth, where it works collaboratively with fellow anthropology associations.
As already established by the EASA statement on data governance for ethnographic projects (EASA 2018), by Pels (2018), by Dilger et al. (2019) and Koning et al. (2019), anthropological research materials cannot be treated as disembodied and transferable data. Following the Security and Morality: Critical Anthropological Perspectives conference organized by the EASA Anthropology of Security Network at the University of Oslo in March 2019, the open-access peer-reviewed Journal of Extreme Anthropology has decided to dedicate a special issue to the topic, with a planned publication date of April 2020.
